As the first 7 identified key laboratories in the railway industry, the lab is supported by the maglev-related disciplines in Tongji University and the industry talents and test facilities in the co-constructing enterprises. It carries out fundamental and practical research on Maglev including operation and maintenance safety, environmental effects, integrated tests and system optimization, and supports the transformation of equipment and system engineering with enterprises as the main body.
